The Bees Homes team were back in the community over the festive period showcasing our fellow independent businesses and raising awareness of their amazing services, products and events. The team partnered up with 12 businesses giving them the chance to showcase what they do to a much wider audience than they would normally reach.
We were delighted to work with such a diverse range of businesses who each kindly gave away a gift or service to be drawn from the people who entered the competition by liking, sharing and commenting.
We were blown away with the extremely positive response from the local community and their support towards our local independent businesses. The interviews were shared daily on the Bees Homes Facebook and Instagram for the first 12 days of December with a reach of nearly 50,000 people and plenty of engagement. 1,000 comments,1187 reactions and over 1000 shares across social media platforms.
We were also thrilled this year’s initiative received some extremely positive PR support from traditional media with a feature in the Eastbourne Herald newspaper and ‘shout out’ on the Sarah Gorrell show on BBC Radio Sussex.
